The Haskell Foundation proudly announces Sacred Pathways: Advancing Cultural Competency in Native American Health & Education, a two-day virtual event taking place May 22–23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST.

This free online workshop will unite mental health providers, educators, and community advocates nationwide to explore Indigenous-centered wellness at the intersection of Western mental health and education approaches.


This event is made possible by the White Bear Grant provided to the Haskell Foundation by Direct Relief.

Event Purpose
“We aim to spark meaningful conversations that bridge Western mental health and education frameworks with Indigenous teachings, ultimately enhancing care for Native American communities,” says Dr. Kasey Flynt, Event Organizer and Development Director at the Haskell Foundation. “Attendees will walk away with actionable strategies for cultural competency, an understanding of Indigenous resilience, and tangible resources to implement in their professional practice.”

Registration & Details Participants can attend live keynote presentations, engage in Q&A discussions, and explore an array of breakout sessions. All participants who complete the workshop will receive a Certificate of Attendance to present for continuing education credit.
After the event, the virtual sessions will be hosted for free on the Haskell Foundation website in perpetuity.
