Event Description:
Join The Chamber as we cut a ribbon for a new Chamber member, Senior Helpers of Lawrence!
Enjoy hosted refreshments as well as tours following the ribbon cutting. Tours will be of the Virtual Dementia Tour (about 5-6 minutes per person experience) in our onsite Center of Excellence. It's normally part of our training (we also conduct the training at assisted living centers across town) and a great experience for anyone wanting to spend a few minutes experiencing what a person with Dementia may be experiencing.
