Ribbon Cutting: Allen Press

Join us at Allen Press for a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and community open house Thursday, November 9 from 11am to 5pm as we celebrate our digital press renovation and expansion. The ribbon cutting will take place at 11:30 followed by a plant tour and refreshments. Guests will have the opportunity to meet our talented team of printing, mailing and publishing experts as well as take a behind the scenes tour of our digital pressroom and production facility in East Lawrence. Plus, our digital operators will give demonstrations of our new digital presses and finishing equipment.

Allen Press recently added two new HP Indigo 7900 digital presses and greatly expanded its capabilities and printing capacity. The HP Indigo 7900 is the leading digital sheetfed press on the market today and provides a wide range of digital applications through innovative print quality, media versatility and intelligent automation including the ability to do variable data. We’ve also added a new Bourg Book and Booklet Makers, a new Challenge Trimmer and a new Epic Coater to our digital press room, all of which help us produce top-quality work in even less time. This new suite of equipment gives Allen Press the ability to serve the complete printing, direct mail and marketing needs of the local and regional business communities. Allen Press has been a proud member of the Lawrence community for over 80 years. We’re excited to invite our customers, friends and neighbors to see what’s new.
