Bees are among the preeminent pollinators of agricultural and natural ecosystems worldwide and are seemingly familiar insects. Yet most of the more than 20,000 species go unseen and unknown to many of us.  At this Science on Tap, Professor Michael Engel will introduce the full diversity of the world's bees along with their varied lifestyles, and briefly discuss what challenges some of these critical insects face today.
