From Evie Lazzarino, VP of External Affairs for The Chamber...
"METL, the collaboration of Manhattan, Emporia, Topeka and Lawrence Chambers, will present a series of topical discussions over the coming weeks in our respective communities. At the September 11 GCA luncheon, we will present an update on childcare and new opportunities for our littlest residents. Please join Kim Polson, executive director of Community Children’s Center, for an exciting progress report. Kevin Kelley, Ph.D., CEO of Peaslee Tech, will also update members on the childcare apprenticeship program and provider survey work.
We will also be joined by leadership from the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Topeka Partnership. We look forward to seeing you!"
