Event Description:

Eagle U is a 5-day leadership and career readiness program in Baldwin City for students ages 15 to 25. Eagle U has been around for 35 years, and for the last 5 years, we have hosted students on the campus of Baker University. This year’s program will be July 13-17th.

Throughout the week, students discover:

  • how to get a job without a resume
  • how to study less and get better grades
  • how to ace every interview
  • how be financially secure 
  • how to form mentor relationships 
  • how to communicate effectively 
  • how to dress professionally, and practice proper etiquette
  • And more! 
Students will each leave with a personalized action plan for their future that will give them a 7-year career headstart.
 

Who may be interested:

  • Local businesses seeking leadership and workforce-readiness development for young employees (ages 15–25)
  • Professionals who enjoy mentoring and would like to volunteer a few hours on Mentor Day
  • Parents or educators with students who may benefit from Eagle U
