The City of Lawrence is excited to announce our Independence Day event, Summerfest 2023!

This unmistakable and exciting, FREE event is coming to the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Monday, July 3rd, and will feature the following:

An Arts & Crafts Show from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Food Trucks
A lecture from the Kansas City WWII Museum
Play Well TEKnologies’ Lego® building
Live music from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
And, last but not least, a community fireworks display in the evening (around 9:30 p.m.)

SCHEDULE
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Summerfest Arts and Crafts Festival
11:00 a.m.: Food trucks arrive
4:00 p.m.: Live music begins
4:00 p.m. Free State Brewery beer sales begin
9:45 p.m.: Fireworks viewing at the “Derby Arena” inside the Fairgrounds
