Location: Lawrence, KS
We are looking for a dedicated Insurance Consultant to work in our Lawrence office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
- Maintain accurate client records in our agency database
- Coordinate daily workflow with internal staff and agents.
- Manage client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing clarifications.
- Oversee daily account management tasks such as processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, policy changes, and coverage comparisons.
- Conduct policy quoting, binding, issuing, and new/renewal marketing activities.
- Collaborate with insurance company underwriters to obtain timely and accurate quotes.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Proven conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in the insurance or related industry preferred.
- Current insurance license or willingness to obtain Property & Casualty licenses.
