Job Description
Location: Lawrence, KS
 
We are looking for a dedicated Insurance Consultant to work in our Lawrence office.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Maintain accurate client records in our agency database
  • Coordinate daily workflow with internal staff and agents.
  • Manage client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing clarifications.
  • Oversee daily account management tasks such as processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, policy changes, and coverage comparisons.
  • Conduct policy quoting, binding, issuing, and new/renewal marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with insurance company underwriters to obtain timely and accurate quotes.
 
Qualifications:
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in the insurance or related industry preferred.
  • Current insurance license or willingness to obtain Property & Casualty licenses.
