Every month our Envoy group meets to network, discuss current intitiatives, and have fun!
What is an Envoy?!
1. Our Envoy committee represents The Chamber in the community.
2. Envoys support local businesses and non-profits and encourage others to do the same.
3. Envoy members attend ribbon cuttings, business after hours, and other Chamber events!
4. This group welcomes new Chamber members and serves as ambassadors for our organization to the business community and the Lawrence community as a whole.
5. Envoys get weekly emails including last minute reminders for events, upcoming event agendas, and more!
Who Can Join?!
Any employee of a Chamber member business can join the Envoy Committee! It?s a free benefit to members, with the option to purchase an Envoy name tag for a small fee.

The annual Lawrence Festival of Trees, held during the holiday season, is the primary fundraising event for The O?Connell Children?s Shelter. Businesses, clubs, children?s groups, families and organizations donate Christmas trees and wreaths to be displayed for the entire Lawrence community to enjoy. The trees and wreaths are all decorated with inventive and whimsical themes in mind and are auctioned off at the gala Festival of Trees event on Friday, December 6.
All of the money raised by this event goes to benefit the children, youth and families served by The O?Connell Children?s Shelter. Proceeds from this event have been used to enhance services as well as make capital improvements.
The 2024 Lawrence Festival of Trees will be held Friday, November 29 ? Sunday, Dec 8 at Maceli?s Banquet Hall & Catering, 1031 New Hampshire Street. Mark your calendars and start planning now!
