The purpose of the conference is to provide insight into current local and state economies, addressing topics of interest to the community, region and state.

Every month our Envoy group meets to network, discuss current intitiatives, and have fun!
What is an Envoy?!
1. Our Envoy committee represents The Chamber in the community.
2. Envoys support local businesses and non-profits and encourage others to do the same.
3. Envoy members attend ribbon cuttings, business after hours, and other Chamber events!
4. This group welcomes new Chamber members and serves as ambassadors for our organization to the business community and the Lawrence community as a whole.
5. Envoys get weekly emails including last minute reminders for events, upcoming event agendas, and more!
Who Can Join?!
Any employee of a Chamber member business can join the Envoy Committee! It?s a free benefit to members, with the option to purchase an Envoy name tag for a small fee.

ST. PATRICK?S DAY PARADE
Plan to attend on St. Patrick's Day - March 17, 2024 at 1 PM - for the 37th Annual Parade in Downtown and North Lawrence, Kansas. Floats, antique cars, pipers, dancers, and more!
A LITTLE HISTORY
The Lawrence St. Patrick?s Day Parade began in 1988 while a few friends of Irish heritage sat in a local pub enjoying a frothy pint. Finbar Collins, Bill Sullivan, and Wink Guenther collaborated with local businessmen Wes Kabler, Gene Shaughnessy and Mike Jones to hatch the plan that would become a long-standing tradition in Lawrence.
