Membership Luncheon: Meet Lawrence Police Chief Gregory Burns
Join The Chamber and fellow Chamber members at our upcoming membership luncheon featuring new Lawrence Police Chief Gregory Burns on Wednesday, December 6 at 12 p.m. The lunch will be at Maceli's, 1031 New Hampshire St. The event is $20.00 per person and RSVPs must be received by Friday, December 1.
Chief Burns spent the last 24 years with the Louisville Metro Police Department, and in his last position there commanded the Support Bureau within the Louisville Metro Police Department which includes the Major Crimes Division, the Narcotics Division, the Community Services Division, and the Special Operations Division. While in Louisville, Chief Burns ascended to the position of Assistant Chief. He holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science with honors in Criminal Justice from Jefferson Community and Technical College, and also a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Criminal Justice from Bethel University. He is a four-year veteran of the United States Air Force and is a graduate of The Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville.
